Vulnerable groups

For 8 years now, IAN has been a partner of Microsoft and International Women's Club – Belgrade. Within this partnership, IAN Telecentar has achieved to provide IT education for more than 6000 people from vulnerable groups that included more than 10000 courses of 20 lessons each!

The main goal of this partnership is to raise IT literacy and practical use of information-communication technologies among the vulnerable groups in Serbia, equipping them with IT knowledge and skills required for performing jobs in a modern working environment, thus increasing their employability and supporting their economic independence and social inclusion.

By providing free of charge IT courses. the project develops their skills and competences needed for active participation in the knowledge economy.

The program is specially targeting members of the most vulnerable social groups in the Serbian society: unemployed, single parents, refugees and internally displaced, vulnerable women, Roma, persons with disabilities, etc.
