Workshop: Quality standards in ICT education

Topics discussed at the workshop held on the 12 of April 2011 were:

  • Support policy for e-inclusion;
  • Digital revolution;
  • General framework for defining e-skills;
  • Education of facilitators throughout telecentres in Spain ;
  • Certificates for accredited telecentres located in Spain ;
  • Standards in Serbia : ECDL - criteria for testing centers;
  • European Computer Driving License (ECDL) - ECDL certificates for end-users (End User Computing).
 

Attending speakers were professionals from Spain , Pedro Aguilera Cortes, Virginia Pareja, and a special guest lecturer Ismael Pena Lopez. Mr. Ismael Pena Lopez is a lecturer at the University of Catalonia , and an expert in the field of Information and communication technology (ICT), which includes development of social policy in ICT and diminution of the digital gap.

Besides ECDL Foundations representative in Serbia , other speakers that attended the workshop were part of IAN Telecentre team, who possess extensive experience in implementation of programs involving digital literacy.
