FIRST COORDINATION MEETING
17 and 18 January 2007

At the beginning of the Project implementation period IAN organised a joint meeting of the Project team members. The first coordination meeting was held on 17th and 18th January in hotel Norcev near Novi Sad in Serbia . Representatives of all partner organisations (Program Manager, Program Coordinators, trainers, lawyers and administrative support staff) attended the meeting.

The aim of the meeting was to confirm the main milestones of the Project with special emphasis on the first few months of the implementation. The methods and timeframe for realisation of Project activities were discussed in detail, administrative and financial procedures were agreed as well as the communication during the Project.

On this occasion staff involved in different components of the Project (access to human rights, professional empowerment and capacity building) had separate meetings where the steps in realisation of activities were discussed. IAN representatives distributed a specially designed electronic data base for regular registration of Project beneficiaries and provided detailed instructions regarding the use of this base and interpretation of data required for regular progress monitoring.
